MetaboSign – Services & Expertise
Applications
Diagnostic tool for human cohorts:
Analysis of bioenergetic signatures in immune cells from pediatric cohorts with autism spectrum disorder or adult cohorts with various conditions (infectious or psychiatric) to stratify patients based on their mitochondrial, metabolic, and immunological impairments, thereby determining the degree of severity and enabling precision medicine for patients.
Therapeutic tool:
- Possibility to screen therapeutic molecules for metabolic reprogramming of cells and repair of bioenergetic signatures.
- Potential applications include human cell cohorts, cells isolated from animal organs, iPS cells, brain organoids and others.
- Analysis of bioenergetic signatures in primary cells, cell lines, biopsies, or mouse brain tissue under pathological or normal conditions.
Various studies:
- Bioenergetic study of human patient cells (pediatric and adult cohorts using fresh or frozen PBMCs)
- Bioenergetic study of various peripheral cells or organ isolated from preclinical models (brain, spleen, thymus, lymph nodes) in rats, mice, monkeys, and hamsters.
- Bioenergetic study of iPS cells and cell lines or primary cells under various culture conditions.
- Provision of a wide variety of protocols (already established and adapted to the scientific project and study conditions)
- Assistance with analyses using multiple methodologies (conventional methods using Agilent’s Waves software or Python, recently developed by the team).
Service
Depending on the project, various options can be discussed with the facility managers:
– Full service: project discussion and protocol adaptation, sample reception, cell plating, measurement, and data analysis.
– Supported autonomy
